It is larger and more powerful than the SoundTouch 10 while remaining considerably smaller than the SoundTouch 30 Series III, making it well suited for medium-size rooms and everyday home listening.
Bluetooth Streaming
Stream music and other compatible audio directly from Bluetooth smartphones, tablets, computers, and other devices.
Bluetooth functionality continues to work following the end of Bose SoundTouch cloud support.
Wi-Fi & Ethernet Connectivity
The SoundTouch 20 Series III can connect to a compatible home network through Wi-Fi or its rear RJ45 Ethernet connection.
Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity support compatible local setup, control, grouping, Spotify Connect, and other supported network functions.
Spotify Connect & AirPlay
Bose states that Spotify Connect and compatible AirPlay streaming should continue to function following the end of SoundTouch cloud service.
Select music from the compatible Spotify or music application and send the audio to the SoundTouch 20 using the available supported streaming method.
3.5 mm AUX Input
A rear 3.5 mm AUX input allows compatible wired audio sources to play through the SoundTouch 20 Series III.

The six preset buttons should no longer be promoted as a currently supported music-preset feature.
Bose also states that SoundTouch products no longer receive Bose software or security updates. Bose recommends using SoundTouch equipment only on a secure private network.
