Spacious Bose Sound

The CineMate 15 uses a four-element speaker array together with Bose TrueSpace and Videostage processing to create a wide, spacious soundstage from a compact soundbar.

The system is designed to make television, movies, sports, and games sound larger and more immersive without requiring multiple surround speakers around the room.

Important Surround Sound Information

The CineMate 15 is not a conventional five-speaker 5.1 system.

The physical system consists of one compact soundbar speaker array and one Acoustimass bass module. Bose TrueSpace and Videostage processing are used to create the impression of a wider multi-speaker home theater experience.

Powered Acoustimass Bass Module

The included Bose Acoustimass module delivers deep low-frequency impact for movie effects, music, television, sports, and gaming.

The soundbar connects directly to the Acoustimass module using its attached speaker cables, and the Acoustimass module connects to AC power.

The bass module is wired to the soundbar; it is not a wireless subwoofer.

The CineMate 15 supports three types of television audio connection:

Simple TV Setup

The CineMate 15 was designed for straightforward installation. Connect the soundbar to the Acoustimass module, connect the module to AC power, and connect a compatible television audio output to the system.

No separate A/V receiver is required for normal operation.

Important HDMI Information

The Bose CineMate 15 does not have HDMI inputs or HDMI ARC/eARC.

The system receives TV audio through optical digital, coaxial digital, or stereo RCA analog connections.

Modern streaming players, game consoles, Blu-ray players, and other HDMI devices should connect directly to the television, with compatible television audio then sent to the CineMate 15.

Important Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Information
