Sound and System Design

The column uses 24 small drivers arranged vertically for broad, even horizontal coverage. The B1 bass module adds two 5.25-inch low-frequency drivers. Bose rates the complete L1 Model I system at 500 W, split between the column and bass amplification, with a 40 Hz–12 kHz frequency response (±3 dB).

Inputs and Sound Control

The PS1 power stand includes a four-channel mixer. Channels 1 and 2 have balanced XLR/¼-inch combo inputs for microphones or instruments, selectable ToneMatch presets, trim controls and 24 V phantom power. Channels 3 and 4 provide ¼-inch line-level inputs for additional audio sources. The included R1 wired remote puts master volume, channel 1 and 2 levels, and high/mid/low tone controls within reach.
