Bose OpenAudio Technology

Bose Frames Tempo use Bose OpenAudio technology to direct sound toward your ears while leaving them uncovered.

This design allows you to enjoy music, podcasts, navigation, and calls while maintaining awareness of nearby traffic, pedestrians, training partners, and other environmental sounds.

Designed for Sports

The lightweight aerodynamic frame, flexible temple grips, custom spring hinges, and interchangeable silicone nose pads are designed to provide a secure fit during running, cycling, hiking, exercise, and other active outdoor use.

Polarized Sport Lenses

The included Mirrored Black polarized lenses are designed to reduce glare while providing protection from ultraviolet light.

Bose specifies approximately 12% visible light transmission for the Mirrored Black lenses and protection against up to 99% of UVA and UVB rays.

IPX4 Sweat & Water Resistance

Frames Tempo carry an IPX4 water-resistance rating and are designed to withstand sweat, rain, and everyday splashes encountered during exercise and outdoor activities.

The Frames should not be submerged, worn while swimming, or used in the shower.

Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life

The rechargeable battery provides up to 8 hours of listening time under supported operating conditions.

A full charge takes approximately one hour using the USB-C charging connection. Bose also states that approximately 30 minutes of charging can provide around four hours of playback.

Bluetooth 5.1

Connect wirelessly to compatible smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth devices using Bluetooth 5.1.

Bose specifies a wireless operating range of up to approximately 30 feet under suitable conditions.

The Frames can remember up to eight previously paired Bluetooth devices, with one device connected for audio playback at a time.
